Since I started working with Ranny Davis some years ago, I've not had another contractor do anything else on my home - and I won't. I trust Ranny and I trust his advice. At times, he's told me not to bother making a repair - or that it's something that can wait a year or two or five. So, when he tells me something needs my attention (or should I say his attention), we follow through with whatever needs work at that time. He has carte blanche to do whatever maintenance he recommends on my home because if he recommends it, I know that it's in my best interest to go forward with it. His trustworthy advice and good work have earned my complete confidence. And incidentally, he's a really nice guy to boot. I recommend Ranny without qualification.

We have used Executive Contracting for over 25+ years, through 2 full home remodels and one addition. We tried other contractors before EC, only to have to have their work removed, repaired and/or replaced after a short period of time. After a while, we realized there was no point in calling anyone else but Ranny Davis of Executive Contracting. You work directly with him, it will be done right but more importantly, you, the customer, must be satisfied. If not, he'll keep working at it until you are. As an added bonus, he takes care of his customers--if you have an emergency, you have a contractor--day or night.

We first called on Ranny to do a simple move of our dining room lighting fixture. Rather than just move the fixture, he made the suggestion to add a ceiling medallion. After advising me on where to go and what was a reasonable price to pay, we ended up with a beautiful improvement to our dining room. Next we utilized Ranny to do a major moulding project in our two-story foyer. He completely redesigned two large openings, added chair rail and picture frame moulding - 6 of the boxes were on the upper walls of the foyer. Although the project was somewhat overwhelming for me, Ranny walked me through each step and made the decision-making process much easier. We love our new foyer and the look he helped us achieve.

When I bought a new condo there were many things I wanted to change/update. Over the course of a few months, Ranny provided the following services:

1. Removed a built in desk from my dining room and refinished the walls and floor in order to make it a bar area. He installed recessed lighting with dimmers to make the alcove a real accent area in my house. He then suggested I use the upper cabinets of the desk unit he removed as extra storage above my washer and dryer, thus saving me money and providing me much needed storage space.

2. Removed insufficient lighting in the kitchen and installed recessed lighting.

3. In my living room he installed pendant lighting with dimmers, and made suggestions on how they should be positioned to make the living room a cozy room to be in. He also hung a matching chandelier in my dining room.

4. He repainted my entire condo. Including recommending the amount of paint I needed to purchase to complete the job, and have just enough left over for future touch-ups, without having too much left over and spending too much money.

5. Ranny installed the mounting unit and hung my 55" television on my wall. He also installed my surround sound units. He even ran the cords through the walls, so there are no cords showing in my living room.

6. Ranny installed the mounting unit and hung my 27" television in my bedroom.

7. I also had Ranny hang mirrors and large artwork throughout my condo.

8. Finally, he also installed a shelving unit in my laundry room/pantry area. And reinforced all the shelving in my closets.

Throughout this all, Ranny was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. He also kept me sane through the long process of making my new condo liveable. I will continue to hire Ranny for all of my home improvement needs in the future, and would highly recommend him to anyone who asks.
